Privacy policy

1. Information you give us

• Contact form. When you submit the enquiry form we collect the details you enter (such as your name, email address, subject, message, and how you heard about us). The submission is delivered to us through Web3Forms, a form-processing service.
• Booking a call. If you schedule a call, the booking is handled by Calendly, which collects the information you provide to it (for example your name, email, and chosen time) under Calendly's own privacy policy.
• Direct contact. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence so we can respond and maintain our records.

2. Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used. This sets cookies and processes data such as a truncated IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and the source that referred you.
• Marketing attribution. On your first visit we store campaign parameters (UTM values) and the referring page in your browser's session storage. This stays on your device and is only sent to us if you later submit the contact form, so we can see which channel brought you.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (DigitalOcean) records standard request logs, including IP address and user agent, for security and reliability.
• Third-party assets. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from a Cloudflare-hosted CDN; requesting these files shares your IP address with those providers.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to respond to your enquiries and schedule calls, to operate, secure, and improve the site, and to measure which marketing efforts are effective. We rely on your consent for analytics cookies and on our legitimate interest in running and improving our business for the rest. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and how to control them

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them only for analytics (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser extension to opt out of Google Analytics. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.

5. Services we share data with

We use a small set of trusted providers to run the site and respond to you:

• Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, and Fonts)
• Web3Forms (contact-form delivery)
• Calendly (call scheduling)
• DigitalOcean (website hosting)
• Cloudflare (icon CDN)

Each processes data under its own privacy terms. We share only what is needed for these functions and never sell your data.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact-form and email correspondence for as long as needed to answer you and to keep reasonable business records, after which we delete or anonymise it. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics retention settings.

7. International transfers

We operate from India, and the providers listed above may process your data on servers in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, these providers rely on recognised safeguards for such transfers.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California you may request access or deletion and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell it). To exercise any of these rights, email info@taapti.com.

9. Children

The site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
